The Gemsy does a nice stitch, but it will take only very thin fabric and is VERY cheaply made (I know, what do you expect for $130.00!). I'm reluctant to use it on good fabric because I don't entirely trust the machine not to eat the fabric! Actually, I had problems with the vendor as well, so I would recommend staying clear.
